in 2022, Asmodee would like to return to the German Star Wars Legion Community participation. At the kick-off, we will receive updated regulations, German ski mixing rules and a new contact person for event organizers.
German game rules have been updated
A big problem of Star Wars Legion the fact is that the rules of the game of each published box are already outdated at the time of purchase. Due to points and rule adjustments, players have to download the current rules online. This was not always possible in the past, as the German regulations were not published at the same time as the English documents.
Now Asmodee Germany has revised all documents:
Our editorial team has been diligent and has prepared the accompanying documents for Star Wars: Legion brought up to date. In the section “Additional material” on the pages of the basic games you will now find not only the brand new translation of the reference manual, but also the updated versions of the Errata reference and the point adjustments for download.

In addition, the Skirmish rules are available in German for the first time. The tournament format is a fast variant of the normal game. On the Asmodee website you will find a complete Overview of the accompanying material.

Tournament organizers receive support again
With Marco Reinartz, German-speaking organizers will have a new contact person on the topic of organized play. Thus, more official content from Asmodee could be available soon on Star Wars Legion See tournaments and demo matchdays. In recent years, organizers have had to help themselves to some extent with self-printed playing cards over the rounds.
We are curious to see how Asmodee will contribute to the German tournament scene in the future. At the latest on the big “SWL im Norden”-Tournament we’ll know more about it in September.
