As StarDance prepares for the holidays. The winner of China is worried about one thing

What can’t be missed on your Christmas table?
Jan China: We are candle people, so a lot of candles. I also like sirloin steak, but of course we don’t have it here for Christmas. We have two types of potato salad. Sometimes we also have kuba as an appetizer, classic Christmas soup and a lot of sweets.

Martina Viktorie Kopecká: Written sermon. It must always be written. And when it comes to food, I’m not a carp tip. I come from northern Bohemia, where steaks and wine sausage are usually made. But there must be no onions in the salad. I can’t stand it.

Tomas Verner: Carp and potato salad.

Zdeněk Piškula: It was a nice opportunity for me to get out of the fairy tale roles

Three nuts for Cinderella, or the Angel of the Lord?
Tomas Verner: This is a very difficult question. I grew up on Three Nuts and I believe that Czech fairy tales are the most beautiful fairy tales in the world. Nevertheless, the Angel of the Lord with Ivan Trojan and Jirka Dvořák are absolutely great. If I have to choose one, then the Angel of the Lord.

Jan China: Three nuts for Cinderella, because I haven’t seen the Angel of the Lord yet. I am probably the only one in the Czech Republic. In fact, I’m quite sorry and I hope to finally see him this year.

Martina Viktorie Kopecká: Both. I really like the Angel of the Lord, because when I studied theology, I understood a few things because of him. The Catholic Church is slightly different from the Hussite. It’s a great educational feat. And Three Nuts for Cinderella is a classic that won’t age. In addition, it breaks down gender stereotypes. I like it.

Favorite actress Daniela Kolářová.

Fairy-tale judge Daniela Kolářová: I follow several customs at Christmas

Do you have a favorite Christmas tradition?
Martina Viktorie Kopecká: Honestly, I’ve been associated with the church all Christmas. The fact that my parents take me to midnight from snowy northern Bohemia, then they go for a welder, I’m preparing a sermon for the time being and then they come to me at midnight, that’s our tradition.

Tomas Verner: We have a tradition and I think it should be introduced by all families, not to give each other gifts. Get together, be together and not stress whether you give someone enough or little. Christmas is about meeting. If someone gets socks and a scarf, that’s fine, but you shouldn’t put cars, washing machines or tours.

Jan China: Sometimes, whenever possible, we go to snails around noon. This is a First Republic custom that few people know. And family visits have always been a tradition, but last year we made them online for the first time and I’m afraid it will be quite similar this year.
