AS Roma Wins 2-1 Over Verona in De Rossi’s Debut Match as Coach

Verona scored a goal in the 56th minute, but it was disallowed. Michael Folorunsho was judged to have violated Rick Karsdorp by pushing him to the ground, before heading the ball into the goal.

Penalty! Verona won a penalty after Milan Djuric’s header hit Diego Llorente’s arm. But Djuric’s execution soars!

GOAL! Verona really narrowed the gap in the 76th minute. Folorunsho’s hard kick from outside the penalty box failed to be stopped by Patricio.

Verona pressed Roma in the remaining time, but Roma managed to contain their guests. I Lupi also won 2-1 and temporarily rose to seventh position with 32 points from 21 matches. Meanwhile, Verona is stuck in 18th place.
