Roger Federer y Novak Djokovic they have been arch-rivals on the court since the beginning of the Serb’s rise to the top when Federer was already a well-established champion of the sport who had racked up many Grand Slams and created many records. Djokovic was Federer’s challenger and that often led to big matches between them from the start of Novak’s career.

As for Roger, he is always credited for his graceful play and calm demeanor of him on the court which has also been observed off the court. Novak’s father Srdjan however, he had lashed out at the media for protecting Federer’s image and struck trying to bring out the Swiss’ reality.

“Federer is still perhaps the best tennis player in history, but as a man he is quite the opposite. He attacked Novak at the Davis Cup in Geneva (in 2006), realized that he was his successor and tried to discredit him in every way. Novak’s success is something amazing and something that one cannot understand.” Srdjan was quoted as saying during an interview in 2013 according to The Telegraph and USA Today.
