The police revealed that the artist with the initials RN was arrested in connection with the case drugs is Rizky Nazar.
“That who was arrested on behalf of Rizky Nazar, aged 25 years,” said Head of Public Relations of Polda Metro Jaya Kombes E. Zulpan told reporters, Tuesday (14/12).
Zulpan said Rizky was arrested on Jalan Munggang, Kramat Jati, East Jakarta on Monday (13/12) night.
He revealed that Rizky was arrested while consuming marijuana.
“When he was arrested he was using marijuana,” said Zulpan.
Zulpan said that during the arrest, the police also confiscated evidence in the form of marijuana, weighing 1 gram.
“Evidence of marijuana weighs 1 gram,” said Zulpan.
Furthermore, said Zulpan, currently Rizky is still undergoing an intensive examination by investigators from the South Jakarta Metro Police Narcotics Unit.
For information, within this week, the police have also arrested two public figures related to drug cases.
On Wednesday (8/12), the police arrested the artist Jeff Smith at his residence located in the Depok area. During the arrest, the police also confiscated two pieces of LSD as evidence.
Then on Friday (10/12), the police arrested the artist Bobby Joseph in the Kalideres area, West Jakarta while conducting a drug transaction.
During the arrest of Bobby Joseph, the police also secured evidence of shabu weighing 0.49 grams which was stored in cigarette packs and wrapped in plastic.
