It is the largest arts and crafts gallery in the region. Organized at Alpexpo to Grenoble, Artisa, the art creators’ fair, runs until Sunday 4 December. On site, no less than 180 exhibitors selected on the basis of criteria “quality, technicality, originality and aesthetics” specifies the organization. These creators work with fabrics, wood, metal, glass, clay, leather, ceramics… We will find painters, sculptors, jewelery designers, furniture designers, etc.
Preview
Several highlights are scheduled, starting with the exhibition, offered in previewspeak out Trace titled Chili poster. This art project composed by 35 photographstestifies to the social protest movement in Chile in the 1980s and the graphic and creative explosion that invaded the city walls of Santiago at the time.
Juan Francisco Rojas Henriquez, photographer and his girlfriend Ellen Margot Rojas Fritzprofessor of history and geography, photographed this artistic expression made of posters, murals, graffiti and stickers created by hundreds of authors, many of them anonymous, and who have witnessed the violence of the clashes in the public space. Most of these works have now almost all disappeared..
Of them guided tours of the exhibition this is expected Friday at 8pm and this Sunday at 3pm.. After Artisa, the exhibition will be presented at the Graphic Design Center in September, on the occasion of the 50th anniversary of the death of Salvador Allende, President of Chile from 1970 to 1973.
Reuse
Another event not to be missed, Another look at reusepresented by the association Grenoble laboratory. This brought together designers, architects and craftsmen skilled in the reuse of materials and spaces. Rossignol will also be there to present its recycled skis and other accessories made with end-of-life skis.. Without forgetting the Fresqueurs who will propose fun and documented activities around the fresco of the climate and the circular economy.
Alpine Chocolate Trophy
The public will also be invited to vote for their favorite work from a selection of fifteen creations proposed by the exhibitors of the exhibition on the theme Back, front and vice versa. The winner will benefit from a free stand at the 2023 edition. The awards ceremony is scheduled for this Saturday at 5.30pm.
Finally, we recall the organization of the Alpine Chocolate Trophy organized by the confederation of confectioners and chocolatiers of Isère and IMT. Of the artistic pieces entirely made of chocolate by the contestants they will be thereby exposed. The theme is as follows: In the sky and under the sea. The awards ceremony will take place on Sunday 4 December at 17:30.
It should be noted that parallel to Artisa is taking place, again at Alpexpo, Naturissima, the fair for responsible consumption and better livingwith, planned, 110 exhibitors, many workshops, conferences, exhibitions. The ticket for Artisa also allows access to Naturissima.
