The Arab Radio and Television Channels Network (ART) is offering two prizes, each worth $50,000, to film projects – under development – at the Red Sea International Film Festival.

The first prize is given to a Saudi film project, while the other prize goes to an Arab film from the projects participating in the festival.

The two awards come as part of the Channels Network’s participation in sponsoring the third session of the festival, whose activities will be held from November 30 to December 9 in Jeddah.

ART Channels participates among the main sponsors of the festival market, through a special pavilion to receive filmmakers from the festival’s visitors.

On the other hand, ART channels are participating in the activities of the Red Sea Festival this year with 4 films produced by them, which is the Tunisian film “Beyond the Mountains,” which is participating in the official competition, directed by Mohamed Ben Attia, while it is participating in the activities of the Arab Masterpieces Competition with 3 films. All at once, which is the movie “Daughters of Olfa” starring Hend Sabry and directed by Kawthar Ben Haniyeh, and the movie “I Miss You” starring the Lebanese star Nadine Labaki and the French artist Fanny Ardan, directed by Tamer Rogli, in addition to the movie “Shamarekh” starring Aser Yassin and Amina Khalil, directed by Amr Salama.

It is worth noting that ART channels, as part of its efforts to preserve cinematic heritage, cooperated with the festival this year to restore the films “Intisar Al-Shabab” starring Farid Al-Atrash and Asmahan, and “My Goblin” starring Shadia and Salah Zulfikar, to be shown within the festival’s Treasures of the Red Sea program.
