The inhabitants of the Grésilles district could only share their disgust after the arson of the Champollion school on Saturday afternoon, where many children from the district go. A 9-year-old boy lamented: “It was the end of the year, we are going to be deprived of school and the school party because of that”.
Christophe Avena, deputy mayor, present at the scene, could not hide his indignation: “I am touched as a man, it is incomprehensible to attack school, it is education, it is this is where everyone is given a chance”.
