Thierry Henry will go head-to-head with his former Arsenal teammate Patrick Vieira for the vacant managerial position at Bournemouth, according to talkSPORT.
Jonathan Woodgate was put in charge of interim earlier this month after Jason Tindall was fired and oversaw two wins in his first three games in charge of the Cherries.

Henry is now a hot candidate for the Bournemouth job
However, club bosses have been looking for a manager to take over for the rest of the season and former Nice manager Vieira is among the favorites to land the South Coast hot seat.
In the latest development on Wednesday, talkSPORT’s South Coast correspondent Alex Crook revealed that Henry, who prospered with Vieira for six years at Arsenal from 1999 to 2005, is also being interviewed for the position in Bournemouth.
After two productive years working as deputy manager of the Belgian national team, Henry took the top job at the former club Monaco, but it only lasted three months.
The 43-year-old is now in charge of the MLS Montreal Impact, a position he has held since November 2019.
The former France international was appointed boss in Montreal in November 2019, signing a two-year contract.
Henry had a wonderful playing career: he won many titles at Arsenal and Barcelona, as well as the World Cup in 1998.

He also received several individual accolades, including the PFA Player of the Year award twice.
Woodgate’s stint as interim manager at Bournemouth got off to an exciting start with a 3-2 home win over humble Birmingham.
The 41-year-old then led his team to an impressive 2-0 win over Burnley in the FA Cup before they faced a goalless draw with Nottingham Forest last weekend.
