But talkSPORT’s Adrian Durham says the Gooners need to stop getting carried away.

“What frustrates me a little bit with the Arsenal fans is the fact that they’re saying ‘we’re back’,” Durham said on Drive.

“If they finish fourth, what does that mean?

“They had a season without Europe, they got out of the FA Cup as quickly as possible, they had a pretty easy run in the League Cup and they went pretty far and then they got discovered, so they’re out of it.

“They haven’t had any distractions of any kind, you put them in the Champions League and suddenly there’s pressure to finish in the top two of their group, let’s see if they can do it”.

Durham also claims that Arsenal should go back to the days of old when they won Premier League titles.

“Also, to maintain a top four challenge and more, they should get back into contention for titles, never mind finishing in the top four, and do an Arsene Wenger and win the top four trophy,” he added.

“All I see is Arsenal fans doing what they always do, hyping it up, here’s the thing guys it’s Watford yes they played well but they just beat Watford 3-2.

“One of my colleagues here tweeted at 3-1 Ben White is the best English centre-back at the moment then he does what he does for Watford’s second goal so they get too excited what they need to do is control him. a little and let it all happen.

“If they get too excited, they become critical when it starts to wobble a bit, when they play Chelsea for example, and they get hit and Granit Xhaka gets sent off; they need to calm down immediately.”
