PREMIER LEAGUE (15th day)
For the first time on the Aston Villa bench, Unaï Emery led her team to victory against Manchester United (3-1). Shortly before, Arsenal showed Chelsea who was the boss, winning 1-0. City narrowly won (2-1) against Fulham, thanks to a penalty from Haaland in added time.
LIGA (13th day)
While Atlético are still held back and suffer a draw on the lawn against Espanyol, Barça (with a goal from Ousmane Dembélé) easily win against Almeiria, despite a missed penalty from Lewandowski (2-0). Real Madrid will play a derby at Rayo Vallecano tonight (21:00).
BUNDESLIGA (13th day)
While Bayern won 3-2 in Berlin, against Hertha (with a brace from Choupo-Moting), Union Berlin took the spanking in Leverkusen (0-5, doubled by Diaby). Result: the Bavarians take the lead in the Bundesliga. Note the goal by Marcus Thuram in M’Gladbach’s victory against Stuttgart (3-1). Christopher Nkunku also scored two goals on his 3-1 trip from Leipzig to Hoffenheim and cemented his place at the top of the top scorer with 11 goals in 13 games.
SERIES A (13th day)
Unstoppable, Napoli wins in Bergamo in the shock of 13th day (2-1). Olivier Giroud gives Milan the victory against Spezzia in the 89thth an acrobatic and spectacular recovery, which allows the Milanese to double Atalanta in the standings. Juventus beat Inter 2-0, with a goal from Adrien Rabiot. The Turinese date back to 5th place, while Lazio won the Rome derby (1-0).
