“Hi LAFC and 3252, I’m back in LA and I can’t wait to see you all at tonight’s game,” Bale said.

Bale spoke the above sentence in two languages. First Spanish, and then English.

Gareth Baleyou speak Spanish?” said one fan.

“In Spain he speaks English, and in the US he speaks Spanish?” add another account.

“In 10 seconds of video, he speaks more fluent Spanish than in 9 years in Spain.”

“He still mocks Real Madrid,” wrote another account commenting on the video.

When he was still in Madrid, there was a lot of news that Bale was not fluent in Spanish. So, the video of his remarks at Los Angeles FC, as reported by the Express, was widely considered to be satire on Madrid.

Bale and Madrid’s relationship has deteriorated in recent years. Bale even had another loan spell at Tottenham Hotspur, before returning to Spain in his final year. Until his contract expired, Bale finally chose to withdraw.

Signed by Madrid as the most expensive player in the world in 2013, Bale has won five Champions League titles, three LaLiga titles, and scored 106 goals in 258 matches.

Gareth Bale is now pursuing a career to Major League Soccer. Arriving in Los Angeles, he became a star when Los Angeles FC played El Trafico against the Los Angeles Galaxy at the Banc of California Stadium. Bale’s team won 3-2 over their rivals.
