Former journalist for France Televisions, Arnaud Romera (49) resigned on Saturday from the presidency of the National Professional Boxing League. In an email sent to André Martin, president of the French Boxing Federation, and to the members of the League, he explains: “For fifteen months, I put aside all my professional activities to devote myself exclusively to the development of the League. […] I did this work on a voluntary basis. I sacrificed my family life practically every weekend to go to meet the clubs and exchange with the actors of professional boxing. Goodwill, passion and dedication still have their limits. Today, I can no longer refuse the professional opportunities that present themselves to me. “

Romera, who left France Télévisions in 2017, was elected on December 4, 2018 to the presidency of the Pro Boxing League which had just been created. He was the only candidate.
