After several hours of searching by a special SWAT team, large firearms were taken from a social media influencer villa in Calabasas, near Los Angeles, according to US media reports.
–
“As we understand it, a search warrant was executed at Jake Calabasas’ house this morning while Jake was out of state,” said Paul Schonfend, Paul’s lawyer, in a statement.
–
Paul has more than 20 million followers on YouTube and has tried his hand at acting, rap and professional boxing, but was recently spotted in a video taken during an anti-racist protest in a looted Arizona mall.
–
The 22-year-old influencer has been charged with criminal intrusion and illegal assembly, but he has denied the violations. The original charges were dropped for a federal criminal investigation.
–
Federal agents investigating “criminal charges” at the Arizona Mall have “executed federal search warrants in California and Las Vegas, Nevada,” the FBI spokeswoman told the press.
