The clash took place on December 9 on the line of effective control (the so-called demarcation line between states, not legally recognized, but considered the actual border – ed.) at the border of the state of Aranuchal Pradesh.
Indian media report a Chinese detachment of up to 300 people has received a “decisive and firm response”. As a result, about two dozen fighters from both sides were slightly injured. Subsequently, the soldiers withdrew from the area.
