The last appointment of Rai1 dance show conducted by Milly Carlucci together with Paolo Belli opened with a series of direct Christmas-themed clashes: each VIP told his own personal Christmas story which was then represented on the track. Particularly appreciated were the performances of Arisa, who staged the Christmas of her childhood, and of Morgan, who danced (and sang) the great John Lennon classic Happy Xmas (War Is Over). The six finalist couples then faced each other in a series of single performances and in the last duels, up to decree the winner of the coveted trophy of the program.

Special guests of the evening were Alberto Angela, which presented Tonight in Naples (broadcast on 25 December on Rai1), and Red Canzian, who offered the audience a taste of his new musical Casanova Opera Pop. Instead, he got involved as a dancer for a night Paolo Belli, replacing the actress Maria Chiara Giannetta – interpreter of Blanca, protagonist of the homonymous successful Rai1 series – who was unable to take part in the final because in isolation (director Luca Alcini and Alberto Matano were also absent for the same reason connected from home to assign the treasure). There was no lack of emotions and tears of emotion of the presenter in the two moments dedicated to teachers Sara Di Vaira and Simone Di Pasquale who will leave Dancing after 10 and 16 years respectively.
