The midfielder Guido Rodríguez, a member of the Argentine team that participates in the Copa América and a Betis player from Seville, is wanted by Arsenal, from England, according to what the Spanish press revealed today.
“While Guido Rodríguez becomes strong in the Argentine team, the more people are watching him from London, Arsenal insists on hiring him,” published the Catalan newspaper Mundo Deportivo.
Betis, for their part, considers that to accept to part with Guido Rodríguez, Arsenal’s offer must be “impossible to reject” given that its price increased and it is also a starter in the Andalusian team’s scheme led by Chilean Manuel Pellegrini.
Rodríguez’s exit clause, emerged from River Plate, is 80 million euros and Betis owns 70 percent of his pass, given that the remaining 30 percent belongs to América de México.
Rodríguez, 27, began his career at River, then played for Defense and Justice, Tijuana and America, both in Mexico, before joining Betis.
