Argentine Eduardo “Chacho” Codette led his first training session as a coach for Celta Vigo, Saturday at the club’s sports city, where he met his new players after arriving in the city last night after he was appointed technical director of the team.
On Thursday, Celta Vigo officially announced the appointment of Codette as the new coach of the team until June 2022.
Codet left the technical management of Internacional, the leaders of the Brazilian First Division, currently qualified for the price of the Copa Libertadores final, after paying the penalty clause stipulated in his contract.
He succeeds the former soccer player Oscar Garcia Junient, and the team will play its first match against Seville next Saturday at the Ramon Sanchez Pizjuan stadium.
