Yesterday, Saturday, security forces in Argentina seized more than nine tons of marijuana hidden inside a truck carrying chickens.

According to a news agency “TelamArgentine gendarmes officers in the Misiones province in northeastern Argentina stopped a truck carrying chickens to verify documents. The agents suspected the presence of drugs due to the behavior of the drug detection dog and searched the truck and found the drug shipment.
According to the agency: “Security forces found 487 bags wrapped in black bags that emit a pungent smell similar to the smell of marijuana.”
According to preliminary data, the total weight of the drugs seized was 9,741 kilograms.
The agency noted that law enforcement officers have detained the truck’s driver and passenger, both of whom are Brazilian citizens.
