Argentina..More than 6 thousand new infections in Coruna within 24 hours

The number of newly infected Coronavirus (Covid-19) in Argentina exceeded the barrier of 148,000, after more than 6 thousand cases were recorded within 24 hours.

This came, according to a statement issued by the Ministry of Health in the country, on Thursday evening, indicating that the number of infections reached 148 thousand and 27 cases, after recording 6127 infections within 24 hours, the highest daily outcome since the outbreak of the virus in the country

The statement indicated that 114 new deaths were recorded as a result of infection with the virus during the past 24 hours, raising the total to 2,702 cases.

Since last March 20, Argentina has been implementing social isolation that allows citizens to leave homes in order to meet only basic needs, by permitting them to leave due to the nature of their work.

On the other hand, HIV infections rose in Chile to 338 thousand and 759, after recording 2371 new cases during the past 24 hours, while deaths increased to 8838 after recording 116 deaths.

The Ministry of Health in the country indicated, during a statement issued by it, that the number of the recovered reached 311 thousand, and 759 recovered, and that there are 1670 cases that are still being treated in hospitals, including 258 critical cases.

The statement also clarified that a million, 464,640 tests have been conducted to detect the virus since it spread to the country.

As of Friday dawn, the number of Coronas infected in the world exceeded 15 million and 639 thousand infections, of whom more than 635 thousand died, and more than 9 million and 528 thousand have recovered, according to the “worldometers” website that specializes in monitoring virus developments.
