According to the Chilean edition of “As”, the Styrians are keeping an eye on Gonzalo Tapia of the CD Universidad Catolica.
Clermont Foot, the French cooperation club of Austria Lustenau, are also said to be interested in the 20-year-old.
Tapia is mostly comfortable on the right wing but is considered versatile up front.
He has played 50 competitive games for his club so far, scoring six goals and providing three assists.
Tapia’s contract runs until the end of 2024, but is said to include a two million euro release clause.
