Are Ronaldo Fans Younger and More Aggressive? The Age Divide in Fanbases

Right at the beginning. I’m neither a Ronaldo nor a Messi fan. I’m still an RM or FC Barcelona fan and I don’t care at all about the debate about who is better of the two because in my opinion you can’t compare them because each one is better than the other in a different area. …

However, there is no getting around the discussion. I’m increasingly noticing that Ronaldo fans are under 20 and Messi fans are older. If you meet someone older between 30-50, no one will say Ronaldo is better than Messi, but when I meet people who are 10-30, they are almost always Ronaldo fans.

Is it just me or is there something to it… Ronaldo fans always seem much more aggressive to me, perhaps because of their age?
