Real Madrid has pointed out Carlo Ancelotti as coach in the following season. Alvaro Arbeloa placeholder image touted as Don Carlo’s assistant.
Ancelotti signed a three-year contract with Madrid. He previously served as Everton’s tactician, but completed his tenure earlier by agreement of the two parties.
The Italian coach is no stranger to Madrid. He was a coach from 2013 to 2015, and has won his 10th La Decima or Champions League, Copa del Rey, European Super Cup and Club World Cup.
In that first period, Ancelotti was accompanied by Fernando Hierro and Zinedine Zidane as assistant coaches. The latter then took over as head coach of Real Madrid Castilla for the 2014/15 season and Hierro came on as a substitute.
Well, Ancelotti for next season will reportedly be accompanied by Arbeloa. He is a former foster child of Ancelotti when he was in charge of Madrid in the first period.
Arbeloa had praised Ancelotti moments before being inaugurated. The former coach of AC Milan, Juventus and Chelsea is considered to have always had a good relationship with the players.
“He is famous all over the world. He always has a good relationship with his players and plays quite an offensive style of play,” Arbeloa told Real Madrid TV.
“He gives his players a lot of freedom to show his talent. We played great football with him, we won La Decima and we had two great seasons.”
“His team is very well organised, but he also likes offensive and attractive football. He also knows Real Madrid perfectly; he knows how the club works and everything that surrounds his work,” Arbeloa confirmed.
