Mauro Arambarri, Getafe’s Uruguayan international midfielder, declared this Thursday that the two team members for this winter market, the Japanese midfielder Take Kubo and the Catalan Carlos Aleñá are “different players.”
Arambarri was the main protagonist in Getafe’s last game against Huesca. The Madrid team won by the minimum with a goal from the Uruguayan, who also had two other very clear chances to score.
“It was a very important victory that we needed,” said Arambarri, who is in his fourth season at Getafe.
“In these four years I have improved a lot. The coach and the teammates have helped me, who have given me a lot of confidence and that is fundamental. I listen a lot to everyone and I take each advice in a good way,” he confessed.
The next day, Getafe will face Athletic Club, recently champion of the Spanish Super Cup, in Bilbao.
“They have a great team and they have shown it in these last games being champions. That speaks very well of what they have achieved, but the main thing is to think of us,” he said.
In the last two Getafe games, Take Kubo and Carlos Aleñá have stood out with their performances, two players who have given the team another air.
“They came to convey all the positive they have and it helps us to have different players. We are very happy with them. They clean up the game a bit and that is good. Now we define well and we are intense,” said Arambarri, whom some rumors have placed outside Getafe in this winter market.
“I have not heard anything but it helps me to continue doing things well to know that other clubs are following me. I try to improve in everything,” he concluded.
