Apple is rumored to have been working on a mixed reality headset. This is expected to launch in 2022 and target the premium market.
A new report states that the new headsets will feature dual 8K displays, Eye Tracking, Inside Out Tracking and interchangeable bands.
The site details a prototype that would already be in its last stage of development and that has an elegant design customizable through different bands and that offer features such as spatial audio and a greater battery.
The funny thing is that this headset would not include any traditional controlsRather, it would depend on inputs such as eye movement and hand gestures, or a finger ring-style device.
The report also corroborates previous rumors and estimates that the price would be around $3.000 USD. In addition, it would launch in 2022 and aim to sell 250,000 units in its first year, then launch a more advanced Augmented Reality (AR) device in 2023.
