The Apple Watch Series 6 will be released this fall and Apple is in the process of preparing for its marketing. This sometimes implies submitting to certain tests or prior registrations, and this is particularly the case in South Korea and Denmark where Apple obtained certification for a new battery for his connected watch. Numbered A2327, the 1.17 Wh battery has a capacity of 303.8 mAh, compared to 296 mAh for the 44mm Apple Watch Series 5.
This 2.6% increase in battery capacity will certainly not have a revolutionary effect on the autonomy of the Apple Watch on a daily basis, but it could be accompanied by further energy savings on the side of the future chip. Apple S6 and ultimately allow you to save a few precious tens of minutes … or to power certain new features that consume more energy, such as possible more efficient Wi-Fi connectivity (the Apple Watch Series 5 is satisfied with Wi-Fi 4 ?? 802.11n).
What’s new in the Apple Watch Series 6 is still a bit unclear, apart from the measuring the level of oxygen in the blood and some “routine” improvements, especially at the level of the processor which should once again gain in power. The presentation of the new range could take place as early as September if Apple keeps its usual schedule, but it is not impossible that Apple will delay the launch a little to coincide with that of the iPhone 12, whose delay has been officially confirmed. It will be for this fall anyway, so it’s worth waiting a bit if you’re going to buy an Apple Watch.
