TRIBUNNEWS.COM, JAKARTA – Apple rumored to be using cheap battery components, as an effort to reduce production costs iPhone 12 newest.
If Appleusing expensive components, then the production costs incurred for each iPhone 12 will be higher.
Quoting The Verge website on Monday (24/8/2020), an analyst named Ming-chi Kuo assessed that one of the biggest savings from production costs comes from the battery technology used.
Kuo said, Apple will reduce the number of layers on the battery board which places the cells in a smaller area.
With this change, according to Kuo, will result in a battery board that is about 50 percent cheaper than the iPhone 11 battery.

In addition, Apple is also rumored to be cutting battery costs for the third-generation AirPods in 2021 by switching to an in-package system similar to the AirPods Pro.

Then to reduce overall production costs, Apple also do not include earphones in the box that sells the iPhone.
iPhone 12 itself is rumored to be launched in October. This launch was slower than the iPhone 11 launch.
Apple itself usually introduces its newest product in September, but it is not clear when this new product will be introduced.
