Microsoft overtakes Apple and grabs the position as currently the world’s most valuable listed company.

Microsoft has once again managed to get hold of the title as the most valuable listed company in the world. On Friday, the Xbox maker, valued at $ 2.49 trillion, overtook Apple (2.46 trillion) for the first time in 16 months.
The change in leadership is due, among other things, to Microsoft’s positive profits from Office, Windows and cloud products as well as supply chain restrictions, which resulted in Apple losing US $ 6 billion.
Apple and Microsoft have been at the top of the most valuable publicly traded companies for years, with Apple mostly at the top. Microsoft previously succeeded in knocking the iPhone company from its throne in 2018 and in July 2020.
