Jakarta, CNBC Indonesia – The latest version of iPhone has been launched. You can check all of Apple’s new cellphones, including the specifications and prices of all iPhone 15 variants, here.
Apple finally released the latest iPhone 15 line through an event entitled ‘Wonderlust’ at the Steve Jobs Theatre, Apple Park, United States, on Wednesday (13/9/2023) early morning WIB.
This series consists of the iPhone 15 Pro Max, iPhone 15 Pro, iPhone 15 Plus, and iPhone 15.
As per leaks circulating, all iPhone 15 series are equipped with ‘Dynamic Island’ which was previously exclusive to the Pro variant in the iPhone 14 series.
The prices for the iPhone 15 Pro Max, iPhone 15 Pro, iPhone 15 Plus, and iPhone 15 in this list are the prices set by Apple in the United States. Usually, Apple sets different prices for each country, including Indonesia.

Below are the complete features and prices for the latest iPhone 15 series.
Apple iPhone 15 Pro Max
The Apple iPhone 15 Pro Max is the highest variant of the iPhone 15 series, both in terms of specifications.
At first glance, the design language of the iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max is still identical to its predecessor. However, the frame (bezel) is made thinner so that the screen-to-body ratio is wider.
The iPhone 15 Pro Max screen measures 6.7 inches and still uses the latest OLED type from Apple with a maximum brightness level of 2,000 nits and Ceramic Shield protection.
Apple uses material made from grade 5 titanium, allowing for a lighter weight.
Apple claims this material is also more durable than the stainless steel used in the previous series. Because, the same titanium is used in rovers that explore Mars in space.
However, the consequence is that the color variants of the iPhone 15 Pro Max do not have as many choices as the iPhone 15 and iPhone 15 Plus. The Pro Max variant comes in three color models, namely white, blue and black.
Regarding chips, the iPhone 15 Pro Max series relies on the newest and fiercest A17 Pro Bionic on the market today. This chip uses a 3nm architecture which was first embedded in the iPhone.
This chip consists of 4 cores that focus on efficiency, and 2 cores that support performance. Overall, it can improve performance up to 10% faster than its predecessor.
Apple has embedded a 48MP camera on the iPhone 15 Pro Max, but with a larger sensor size. The default resolution is 24MP which can capture images at a depth of 24mm, 28mm and 35mm.
Its telephoto capabilities are made more sophisticated than the regular version. Thanks to the 12MP secondary camera, it can optically enlarge images up to 5x.
The wide camera also has a slight improvement, namely that it has an anti-reflective feature when used at night. Apart from that, there is also macro support for sharper and more detailed objects.
Regarding video, the iPhone 15 Pro Max is capable of recording in 4l quality at 24 fps, 25fps, 30 fps or 60 fps. The camera also supports 1080p HD video recording, and 720p HD video.

Regarding specifications, this Pro variant is similar to the Pro Max. Only the screen size is smaller, still 6.1 inches.
The iPhone 15 Pro series is now equipped with an ‘Action Button’ like the Apple Watch. This button will recognize pressure to change the desired mode. For example, to launch voice memo, camera, or activate accessibility features. When using the Action Button, the Dynamic Island feature at the top of the screen will also react.
Some of the mainstay features on Dynamic Island include ProMotion, Extreme Dynamic Range, and Always On Display, and StandBy Mode which was previously introduced on iOS 17 at the WWDC event.

Just like the iPhone 15 and iPhone 15 Plus, the Pro variant has also replaced the Lighting port with USB-C. The difference is, there is a USB Controller which allows transfer speeds of up to 10 Gpbs.
In terms of camera, the difference with the Pro Max series lies in the telephoto camera. Where the telephoto uses a 12MP secondary camera, and can optically enlarge the image only 3x. The digital zoom also only reaches 15x, compared to the Pro Max which reaches 25x.
The iPhone 15 Pro is equipped with a 48MP main camera which now supports 24MP super high resolution. This premium cellphone is also equipped with a 12MP ultra wide camera. On the front, the iPhone 15 Pro carries a 12 MP selfie camera which is integrated with Face ID.

The improvement is felt in the Plus series this time. The iPhone 15 Plus version already has the Dynamic Island feature which was previously only available in the Pro and Pro Max variants.
This series comes in more colors, namely yellow, pink, green, blue and black. The screen measures 6.7 inches with an OLED screen and uses Super Retina XDR.
Regarding the chip, the iPhone 15 Plus uses A16 Bionic which allows for faster and fiercer processing, as well as increased battery life. This chip also supports improvements to audio aspects and location detection.
Like its predecessor, the iPhone 15 Plus has an IP rating of IP68. This means that this rating shows the device’s resistance to dust and water at a maximum depth of 6 meters for 30 minutes.
In terms of camera, the iPhone 15 Pus uses a 48MP resolution sensor with a focal length of 26mm, 12MP ultra-wide camera, 12MP telephoto with 2x optical zoom.
Apart from that, the camera also provides an enhanced bokeh effect. On the iPhone 15 Plus, users no longer need to change Portrait mode to produce bokeh photos. Night Mode is also exhibited with more accurate and sharp results than its predecessor.

Apple iPhone 15 comes with a 6.1 inch screen. HP material uses crystalline particles and Ceramic Shield coating for double protection. To add security, Apple has also embedded a waterproof feature on the iPhone 15.
