Update 11:45 am ET: Three hours after the outage began, Apple says the issues are now resolved.
Update 1:49 pm ET: Apple is now reporting outages affecting Photos, Notes, Backups, and other iCloud cloud services.
If you’re having trouble playing Apple Music right now, you’re not alone. Apple’s servers seem to be experiencing a performance issue that is affecting Apple Music streaming and more. Apple Books and the App Store are also affected.
The outage is preventing server-side components like Listen Now, Browse and Radio, and searching for music in the Apple Music catalog. Subscribers are also experiencing trouble summoning Apple Music on streaming-dependent products like the Amazon Echo. The search and playback problems appear to have started around 8:40 am ET on Wednesday.
The outage is also removing members from Apple Music for being unable to connect, although membership status is not affected. Hopefully the interruption is brief and the music will be playing again soon. Meanwhile, it’s not just you experiencing the signal, and local music playback is unaffected.
Apple Music for someone else? (Please don’t call me poor unless you’re posting your last pay stub by the way) ????

Can it be that @AppleMusic is down right now? Alexa no longer wants to play it and the lyrics are no longer loaded on the iPhone and iPad when the tracks are loaded ????
