The color of the logo could mean this or that type of notification.
The Apple logo as we know it on the iPhone may well change on future models. In any case, this suggests a new patent filed by the Californian firm with the competent American authority last March. A patent for which Appel has just received approval from the USPTO. This patent talks about setting up the famous Apple logo.
It could indeed be endowed with “decorative characteristics” and change color, even appearance. Last year already, the Californian firm had deposited a patent going in this direction, proof that the project is still current at Apple.
In the document of its patent, Apple indicates that the logo could change its appearance via sensors, but also via the system of the device. It’s not just a question of choosing the color or shape of the logo – the process for changing the apple logo is not yet very clear – depending on his clothes, but to use the Apple logo to notify users of incoming calls, receiving text messages, dead batteries, etc.
If Apple was already working on this new notification design last year, there is still very little chance that it will already appear on the 2020 models of the iPhone. Indeed, the design of the iPhone 12 has been completed for some time now and therefore, the validation received from the USPTO is too late for the patent to materialize on this year’s smartphones.
We can hope that the evolving logo of Apple is found on the iPhone models of 2021, but nothing is less certain. Apple regularly protects its ideas without incorporating them into its products.
