Apple extends its independent repair program to the Mac

So far reserved for the iPhone, Apple’s independent repair program, the Independent Repair Provider Program, will be stretched to the Mac. Apple made the announcement this week Reuters, Jeff Williams (COO) congratulating himself in a press release to bring our Mac users this convenient and reliable repair experience. This program will allow independent repairers to access the same resources, intellectual or material, as Apple Stores and Apple authorized service centers, which will improve the quality of repairs performed outside the official network, typically in some underserved areas.

Initially reserved in the United States its launch Apple’s self-employed repair program last year was stretched last month in Canada as well as 32 European countries, including France. The independent repairers partners of Apple are therefore still few in the Hexagon. The contract imposed by Apple is very restrictive, but that did not prevent this program from seducing 700 partners in the United States in less than a year.
