Apple reports that the consequence is that there is not enough supply of iPhones, which means that the worldwide turnover is lower.

The second reason for the sales warning is the temporary closure of Apple Stores and partner stores in China, which means that the demand for Apple products in the country is lower. The stores that are open have adjusted hours and fewer visitors. Apple does report that it will gradually open its stores again and demand outside of China would be in line with the company’s expectations.
