Official: Apple event takes place on September 15th

The big news this week was the official announcement of the Apple event. Apple announced that there will be new product announcements on Tuesday evening, September 15. With a digital invitation, Apple invites everyone to a virtual visit to the Steve Jobs Theater. ‘Apple unveils new iPad and Apple Watch on September 15, but no iPhone 12’

However, the announcement of the Apple event does not mean that we can also expect the iPhone 12 series next week. Usually reliable source Mark Gurman claims that we will only see the iPad 2020 and Apple Watch Series 6 this Tuesday. The iPhone 12 phones will not be presented until October, according to Gurman. So it will remain exciting next week.

Open standard for smart home devices appears in 2021

‘Providers are getting ready for iPhone 12 with 5G support’

While Apple fans are waiting to see if they can use the iPhone 12 next Tuesday, providers are quietly preparing. This was shown in a photo showing the well-known smartphone-tasty Evan Blass this week shared on Twitter. The photo shows an email in which a carrier mentions the iPhone 12 with the text ‘Be the first to experience it with 5G’.

Latest macOS Catalina update fixes Wi-Fi and iCloud Drive bugs

Apple released an additional update for macOS 10.15.6 this week that is rolling out gradually. The update fixes issues with iCloud Drive and Wi-Fi connections, among other things. Rather than choosing a new version number, Apple will keep ’10 .15.6 ‘to describe the update. That doesn’t make it any clearer, but luckily it’s easy to check if the update is available for your Mac.
