The range offered by the brand already includes some of our favorite controllers for mobile video games, and for good reason. On the menu in particular, good ergonomics, substantial customization and, in some cases, a little tinge of nostalgia. It’s also relatively easy to switch between your Apple devices and other devices, like consoles or PCs. That makes them particularly handy to use if you’re playing action games outdoors, for example, and don’t fancy struggling with touchscreen controls.

One more option for mobile gamers

8BitDo’s controllers aren’t the only great options when it comes to mobile controllers, though. The Nimbus and Stratus models from SteelSeries, for example, will be perfect for those looking for an Xbox-style controller. And if you want to get closer to the Switch or the Steam Deck instead, the Razer Kishi is the perfect choice. Either way, it’s a good thing to have more choices when gaming on an Apple product, especially if you like 8BitDo’s accessories.
