This is indicated by the often well-informed Japanese site Mac Otakara. The design of the iPad wouldn’t undergo a noticeable change, but the internal components would be updated.
Thus, the fifth generation iPad Air would benefit from the advances of the last iPad mini launched by Apple. In particular, the tablet would ship an A15 Bionic chip, a 12-megapixel ultra-wide-angle front camera module, with the Center Frame function to automatically track the face, as well as a True Tone Quad-LED flash for the rear camera module. .
The iPad Air should also benefit from 5G, as an option. According to a leaker quoted by our colleagues d’Apple Insider, 5G could also arrive at the end of the year in new tenth generation iPads, with Wi-Fi 6 and the A14 chip.
