Regional Road Administration – Burgas has announced a public order for the development of a technical project for the overhaul of 44 km of the I-6 Sofia – Burgas road /from km 428+200 to km 472+344/. The Sub-Balkan Premium Road is a major alternative route to the Thrace Motorway.
The section for which a project will be developed starts from the village of Venets, passes through Karnobat and ends at the exit of Aytos in the direction of Burgas.
Candidates can submit offers until September 18 of this year. The indicative value of the order is BGN 1,059,456 excluding VAT.
The design work is scheduled to be completed in 120 days in three intermediate stages.
The preparation of the technical project is the first and mandatory step before undertaking quality construction works.
On the basis of the finished project, the specific construction and installation works, their value, the deadline for their implementation will be determined and the selection of contractors for the repair and construction supervision will be started.
