With the start of the fifth season in Apex Legends on Tuesday (May 12th), the new legend Loba Andrade enters the scene – and tells its story.
At the age of eight, Loba had to the murder of the simulacrum killer Revenant on her parents to watch and develop thirst for revenge. The most original background story was not given to the new Apex legend, but this premise has proven itself, not least for Batman. In contrast to the “Dark Knight”, Loba does not fight the crime, she becomes a criminal herself. As a pickpocket she makes her way through until she encounters special prey during a raid in a supposedly burglar-proof facility: Jump drive technology. Thanks to the teleportation bracelet, perfectly secured items are also within reach for Loba – as is her revenge campaign.
The encounter with Revenant will not be long in coming, Loba should be prepared for the duel with the legend of the previous season. At hand – in the truest sense – gave her respawn entertainment tactical skills “Best friend of the thief”, which allows them to be teleported to difficult-to-reach positions using the jump drive bracelet. The passive ability “Practiced look” on the other hand, you meet as a thief: Loba can spot epic and legendary prey nearby through walls. The ultimate skill “Black market boutique” places a portable device that she can use to teleport loot into inventory. Each friendly or enemy legend can hold up to two objects.
