More than 12,600 apartments were released for construction in Baden-Württemberg in the first quarter of this year. That is around a quarter more than in the same period last year.

Stuttgart – The number of permits for new apartments in Baden-Württemberg rose significantly in the first quarter. Between January and the end of March, 12,686 apartments in new buildings to be built were approved for construction – that is an increase of 27 percent compared to the same period of the previous year, as the State Statistical Office announced on Friday in Stuttgart.
Regardless of the Corona crisis, residential construction in the southwest continues to pick up. Last year, a total of 43,990 new apartments were approved – and thus more than in previous years.
