The Puerto Rican urban interpreter Anuel AA released his new single and music video, “23 Questions” on Monday, in which his colleague and compatriot Rauw Alejandro appears as a guest.
23 Questions It is a slow-paced reggaeton with romantic lyrics that compare a past relationship with famous events that shaped the world, ”explained Anuel’s representatives in a press release.
In the song, written by Anuel AA and produced by Census, Jug and Taz Taylor, Anuel AA asks her love interest 23 questions and thereby tries to find out if the relationship can be salvaged.
As a gift for his fans, Anuel AA invited Rauw Alejandro who makes a surprise appearance at the end of the song by singing the chorus with his distinctive voice.
The music video, directed by Abez, features Anuel AA in what looks like an interrogation room, dressed in black with his unmistakable chains, preparing to record the 23 questions.
23 Questions arrives just two weeks after The usual, a collaboration with Puerto Rican producer Chris Jedi and has accumulated more than 11 million views on YouTube, thus far.
Anuel AA was recently nominated for eight Billboard Latin Music Awards, including Artist of the Year.
The other nominations are Artist of the Year – Male Hot Latin Song, Top Latin Album Of The Year – Emmanuel, Top Latin Albums – Male Artist Of The Year, Latin Pop Song Of The Year – I like it, Latin Rhythm Artist Of The Year (Soloist), Songwriter Of The Year and Latin Rhythm Album Of The Year – Emmanuel.
