The leaders of the first month of 2024 according to the AnTuTu benchmark have been named. Among the Android sub-flagships, the smartphone based on a hardware platform that became the most powerful in its segment won by a huge margin. The latest 4nm MediaTek Dimensity 8300 Ultra chipset was released in November last year and scores 1.5 million AnTuTu points. So far, only two devices are based on it: Redmi K70E and POCO X6 Pro. The model under the POCO brand is almost similar to the Chinese leader and is available in Russia. Moreover, now she is on sale on Yandex Market with 18% discount and starts from 28.5 thousand (versus 35 thousand at the beginning of sales).
What is the difference between Redmi K70E and POCO X6 Pro
Both smartphones from Xiaomi were announced a couple of weeks apart, but were released for different markets. Redmi K70E is equipped with a larger battery (+500 mAh) and supports more powerful 90-watt charging.
But Poco X6 Pro received IP54 protection against dust and moisture. The first model also offers more memory configurations. There are also minor differences in the thickness and weight of the devices. Otherwise, the new items are identical. The final AnTuTu performance test score for Poco X6 Pro is 1.36 million points, which is only 14% lower than the January leader.
The smartphone received not only a super-powerful Dimensity 8300 Ultra processor with Mali-G615 graphics, but also other decent equipment. A sufficient amount of memory 8+256 GB or 12+512 GB is implemented on fast LPDDR5X and UFS 4.0 elements. The excellent 6.67-inch AMOLED screen has a resolution of 2712 x 1220 px and a brightness of up to 1800 nits. The display supports HDR10+ range, frequency up to 120 Hz and DCI-P3 color gamut.
The main 64 MP sensor with optical stabilization is paired with an 8 MP ultra-wide-angle lens with a viewing angle of 120 degrees. 4K video recording available. The front camera has a resolution of 16 MP.
The standard 5,000 mAh battery supports 67-watt fast charging, which is included in the package. The adapter can replenish 80% of the battery’s energy in half an hour, but thanks to the energy-efficient chip, the charge lasts for the whole day. Right out of the box, the smartphone comes with the new HyperOS shell based on Android 14.
