This Wednesday, the scrum half of the Blues was elected for the third time in his career best player of the 6 Nations Tournament. 2017
After discovering the Top 14 in the colors of Castres Olympique during the 2014/2015 season, Antoine Dupont quickly made people talk about him. Sparkling when he came into play with the CO, the young scrum half was quickly propelled as one of the nuggets of French rugby. In 2017, he won his first individual trophy by being elected “revelation of the season” during the Night of Rugby.
2018
During his first season with Stade Toulouse, the one from Castelnau-Magnoac (Hautes-Pyrénées) did not win a major award. The main explanation is that he seriously injured his knee with the XV of France against Ireland, which did not allow him to play the entire 2017/2018 exercise.
2019
Fully recovered from his ruptured cruciate ligaments, Dupont is one of the great architects of Toulouse’s exceptional season in 2019. With the Haut-Garonne club, the scrum-half lifted the Bouclier de Brennus for the first time in his career by beating Clermont in the final of the Top 14. A few months later, he was honored by Midi Olympique with a Golden Oscar.

2020
It was in 2020 that the playmaker of the Blues was elected player of the Six Nations Tournament for the first time after an edition during which he started five times, for a try against Ireland. As in the previous year, he received the Oscar d’Or Midi Olympique.
2021
The year 2021 is undoubtedly the most beautiful since the start of Antoine Dupont’s career. With the Toulouse jersey on his shoulders, he achieved the Top 14-Champions Cup double. He is also captain in the European final. An exceptional season which then allowed him to be elected best player of the season and best international of the season during the Night of Rugby and to win the Oscar d’Or and the Oscar Monde Midi Olympique.
It didn’t stop there as he was named World Rugby’s Best Player and received the EPCR European Player of the Year award. Just that.
Antoine Dupont was the captain of Stade Toulousain in the Champions Cup final in 2021.
2022
After a golden year 2021, we cannot say that the now captain of the Blues has slowed down the pace in 2022. If he is beaten in the semi-finals of the Top 14 and this Champions Cup in club, he leads the XV of France to the grand slam.
Regarding the individual trophies, he was elected for the second time best player of the Tournament and best French international of the season during the Night of Rugby. He also won the Oscar d’Or and the Oscar Monde Midi Olympique.
2023
The Six Nations Tournament escaped France and Antoine Dupont at the start of 2023. Nevertheless, the scrum half has still been voted best player of this edition. This corresponds to his nineteenth career trophy.
