Antler offers $60 million funding for Middle East startups in Dubai and Riyadh

A unique idea may be the basis for the success of any startup, but the most difficult step is finding the source of funding to turn the idea into a commercial entity and push it towards expansion and growth.

In this context, Antler seeks to provide $60 million in funding over the next four to five years for 100 emerging companies in the Middle East, with a focus on Dubai and Riyadh.

In an interview with CNN Business, Jonathan Dorr, partner at «Antler»that investment capital constitutes “risk without a doubt,” but he stressed that the company is trying to take a practical approach to reduce risk by studying and analyzing the market before starting the proposed investment.

He added, “In the first six months of our program, we guide and train the team, and this includes specialized training for partners to crystallize their ideas, and we also help startups develop the basic product that they put on the market, in addition to training them and helping them develop their business and linking them to a wide network of experts.”

More details in the interview conducted by “CNN Economic” correspondent Abdullah Al-Juaid.
