TIMESINDONESIA, CIAMIS – Education authorities (Ciamis Education) has issued two Circular Letters. The letter is related to the improvement dengue cases in Ciamis. And, anticipate disasters during the current rainy season in Ciamis.
“For the circular letter to anticipate disasters, we urge the educational environment or schools to trim large trees that have the potential to fall,” explained Head of the Ciamis Education Office, Asep Saeful Rahmat, Sunday (11/7/2021).
In addition, the appeal in the letter also contains that the school secures books and learning media. In particular, those that are easily carried away by water.
Then, the school also needs to check the electrical installation at the school. That’s to prevent fires.
“It is also necessary to clean the drainage channels in the school environment. That is so that the garbage does not hinder the flow of river water,” he added.

For information, the recent rainy season in Ciamis has resulted in disasters such as floods and landslides. As well as, dengue cases which experienced an increase (203 cases from early January 2021-November 2021) in Ciamis.
