Indonesian men’s singles Anthony Sinisuka Ginting advance to the semifinals Indonesia Masters 2024 after beating Loh Kean Yew in the quarterfinals. He won 21-17 and 21-19 in a tough 53 minute duel.
The Anthony Ginting vs Loh Kean Yew match was played on Court 1, Istora Gelora Bung Karno (GBK), Friday (26/1/2024). A ticket to the final four is at stake.
In the first game, Anthony Ginting, who was the third seed, was relatively in control, but Loh Kean Yew then caught up. A failed challenge from Ginting resulted in points for Loh Kean Yew. But Ginting was still ahead 11-9 at the interval, after a 10-minute duel.

With Loh Kean Yew continuing to try to catch up, Anthony Ginting still able to maintain excellence. Ginting led 11-6 in the second game interval after his opponent returned the ball.
Loh Kean Yew continued to put up tough resistance and managed to equalize the score at 13-13, even taking the lead. The duel then became fierce with both of them continuing to chase each other point by point!
