The wedding plans of Anouk (46) go back in the freezer for a while. Since the corona crisis, the Dutch singer has no longer been able to perform, and she feels that in her wallet. As a result, all her financial reserve is exhausted. “I need to earn some money first,” she says. “The money I had saved for my retirement and marriage is gone.” Due to her asthma, Anouk was forced to stay on the sidelines until today, out of fear of being infected with the corona virus. Even for The voice, where she is a coach, she stayed in a separate studio and an LED screen was placed on her revolving chair on which she could be seen.
Anouk got down on one knee for her partner Dominique last year. She proposed the proposal herself because she had rejected her boyfriend “about twenty times” out of fear. Earlier this year there seemed to be relational struggles, but according to the singer, the folds have already been smoothed out with her future husband. (tove)
