The City of Châteauguay wishes to inform the population that given the high traffic on July 16 during the passage of the mobile COVID-19 screening unit at the Center 55+, the CISSS de la Montérégie-Ouest and the Department of Public Health of the region will hold another day without an appointment for screening for the coronavirus. The next meeting for people who wish to be tested will take place this Wednesday, July 22 from 9:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Center 55+ at 27, boulevard Saint-Francis at Châteauguay.
500 new tests
This mobile COVID-19 screening clinic is free and is intended not only for the citizens of Châteauguay but also for all citizens wishing to be tested. People interested in screening are invited to drop by Wednesday at the start of the clinic. They will receive a number and they will be called back to know the time of their screening test.
A total of 500 tests can be carried out on July 22, according to the organizers’ forecasts.
Between July 13 and 19, 2020, the Direction de la Santé publique de la Montérégie reported 275 new positive cases for COVID-19, including 78 in the MRC of Roussillon, 24 in the MRC of Vaudreuil-Soulanges and 19 in the MRC of Beauharnois-Salaberry.
