Another 506 people were confirmed infected with the coronavir virus in Lithuania last day, and nine deaths caused by Covid-19 were registered, the Department of Statistics announced on Sunday.
The proportion of 3770 analyzes performed last day and positive tests was 13.4%.
Since the beginning of the pandemic in Lithuania, 8,623,143 analyzes have been performed and 1,054,618 infections have been detected.
A total of 9063 people have died from Covid-19 in Lithuania.
There are currently 556 Covid-19 patients in hospitals, 31 of whom are receiving intensive care.
According to the Department of Statistics, the 14-day cumulative number of infections per 100,000 population in Lithuania has decreased to 469.3.
A total of 1,950,217 people have been vaccinated against Covid-19 in Lithuania, of whom 1,874,120 have completed the primary vaccination course. 926,963 people were vaccinated.
