In Lithuania, 3,067 cases of Covid-19 were registered and 29 people died last day, but in Estonia, 358 cases of Covid-19 were confirmed and one patient died, according to Lithuanian and Estonian public media reports.
Lithuanian social media portal “LRT.lt” reports that that a total of 12,059 Covid-19 tests have been performed in the country in the past day, and 1.38 million Covid-19 tests since the beginning of the pandemic.
To date, 86,949 people have been confirmed the disease in Lithuania. 49,628 people still suffer from Covid-19, but 36,168 have recovered. Covid-19 has so far claimed 764 lives.
A total of 3,537 Covid-19 tests were performed in Estonia last day, of which 10.1% were positive, reports Estonian public media portal “ERR.ee”.
On the morning of Friday, December 11, a total of 271 patients were treated in Estonian hospitals, which is 17 Covid-19 patients more than the day before. Experts have previously indicated that hospitals have beds for 350-400 Covid-19 patients, reports “ERR.ee”.
Since the start of the pandemic, 142 people in Covid-19 have died in Estonia.
