Prince George is celebrating his birthday today: the future heir to the British throne has 8 years left! In honor of this, Kate Midltone shared a new holiday portrait of her son.
The photo, taken by the Duchess herself (she is known to love photography), appeared on the Duke of Cambridge’s official Instagram account.
In it, George poses in a striped polo shirt and dark blue shorts sitting on the cover of the Land Rover Defender.
Many saw it as a tribute to Prince Philip: as is well known, his favorite car brand was Land Rover, with which he often drove himself. Philip also visited the factories where the cars of this brand are assembled.
In the picture, 8-year-old Prince George looks cheerful and smiles.
